December 2015
Wessex raised £100 for Wave 105's Cash For Kids charity with a Christmas jumper day. We also collected clothes and toys for children aged between 0-18. Wave 105 are hoping to collect around 64,000 toys and gifts to give to disadvantaged children in the south a Christmas gift.
A big thank you to all those who came to visit us last month at the OT Show in Birmingham.
We are excited to announce that we will be exhibiting at Liftex International 2016. Liftex is the UK's leading event for the lift industry organised by LEIA (Lift and Escalator Industry Association). Come and meet us on the 25th - 26th May at the Excel in London on stand C74.
Tanya Wallis; Wessex Lifts receptionist will be skydiving from 10,000 feet on 5/12/2015 to raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society. She is looking to raise £1000.
November 2015
Wessex had a bakeoff for Macmillan cancer support's "worlds biggest coffee morning". We raised £55 in total and ate lots of cake!
Back in 2012 Chris Gibbons was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a debilitating condition that causes his muscles to weaken and limits his life expectancy. His parents wanted him to be able to go anywhere he wanted in his own home and not be restricted to the downstairs.
September 2015
Boden, who suffers from cerebral palsy, has a Wessex Lift (VM36) to aid him getting upstairs. Boden is a big fan of the classic VW campervans so his dad Brian got one designed by a graphic designer which was then printed and fitted to Boden's VM Homelift.
July 2015
Wessex Lifts have recieved the silver award for "The Contractors Equality and Diversity Framework". It was presented to Wessex by Chief Executive, Susan Jordan of St Leger Homes of Doncaster on 4th June 2015.
Not long to go now till the COT conference in Brighton (30th June – 2nd July). Look out for us during the event and if you're interested in finding out more about the advantages of enclosed through floor lifts remember to attend our workshop on the 1st July from 11:30 till 12:20.

Since its launch in 2012 we have been successfully selling and installing a fully enclosed version of our well known VM Homelift across the United States and Canada. We are pleased to announce that this product will now be made available in the U.K and Europe.
